Full Charge BookkeeperWe are seeking a Full Time, experienced detail-oriented and organized Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our firm.

Administrative Project Management Experience a plus.The Candidate should have Advanced QuickBooks experience, Microsoft Word and Advanced Excel skills (Strong knowledge of pivot tables, v-look ups) Heavy Spreadsheet Experience a must.

Candidate should have Project Management Experience and related accounting Tasks; monitoring, coordination, job task aspects, tracking, scheduling, managing Closeout Packages.Position includes bookkeeping, month and year end accounting direct interface with our CPA and clerical aspects related to our environmental health and safety system, projections, government agency filings, handling of annual insurance audits and general office strength.Candidate must be highly resourceful, flexible, positive and wear many hats easily to support tasks and projects as they arise.

Candidate will maintain records, procedures, checklists, subcontractor data and trainings.

Candidate will handle preparations for annual and quarterly audits and also interface with the auditor.BMI is a 25-year-old firm in Southern California.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform general bookkeeping duties, including posting information to accounting software and regularly reconciling accounts, oversee GL, AP, AR, familiarity with Payroll
· Prepare 1099’s and other State Filings including aspects of Insurance and Ins.

Audits
· Maintain budgets, chart of accounts, design projections, QuickBooks Maintenance and oversight.
· Oversee reconciliations of bank accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.

Month and Year End Financials and Projections
· Prepare & Issue financial statements to Banks and Vendors.
· Familiarity with Vendor Portals and uploading Information and files
· Project Projections on Excel & Business ScenariosRequirements and Qualification
· Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or relevant field.
· Minimum of 3 Years of Advanced Managerial Experience
· Minimum 5 Years Accounting Experience with good job longevity
· Advanced QuickBooks Skills a Must
· Advanced Excel, Word, Spreadsheets, Outlook, Adobe
· Strong Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles, Great communications skills, emailing, conference calls
· Ability to Handle Live Audits and communicate with Vendors
· Keen attention to detail and ability to keep records and files organized.BMI is a 25-year-old recycling management firm located in City of Commerce, Californiawww.bmionline.us
· 48,000-62,000 per year depending on Experience
