Talented and eager Bookkeepers are encouraged to apply for this new full-time role with a client via Robert Half Finance and Accounting. You will own data entry, cash applications, and full cycle A/P in this Bookkeeper position. As well, you will handle accounts payable, month-end closing, accounts receivable, and reconciliation. This Bookkeeper role will be located in the Los Angeles, California area and will be a full-time position. This role is with a company in the Real Estate & Property industry.

Responsibilities

– Guide monthly accounting close

– Experience with Accounts Receivable

– Sustain monthly accounting close

– Other special projects as requested

– General ledger

– Plan monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

– Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

– Formulate cash flow projections, as needed

– Accounts Payable

– Iron out subcontractor 1099’s, and any other IRS year-end requirement

– Capable in credit card management and reconciliation

Job Requirements:
– Notable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

– Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

– Ability to meet deadlines

– Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

– Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

– High attention to detail

– 5+ years of related experience- Solid understanding of Full Charge Bookkeeping

– Experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

– Proven knowledge of Bank Account Reconciliation

– Well-founded grasp of journal entries

– Practical knowledge of Xerox

– Foundational knowledge in payroll

– Quality experience with QuickBooks

– Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

– General familiarity with financial statement preparation

– Command of Accounts Payable (AP)

– Excellent communication and organizational skills

– Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

– Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills
