We are aiming to find a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper for our client. You will monitor audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, and financial statement preparation as the Full Charge Bookkeeper. The clerical staff will address any concerns to the Full Charge Bookkeeper. This Bookkeeper role is a great opportunity if you are a self-driven and organized accounting detail oriented who thrives under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Canoga Park, California area.

Your responsibilities in this role

– Set up subcontractor 1099’s, and any other IRS year-end requirement

– Record budget transfers

– Execute cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc.

– Group sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

– Supply cash flow projections, as needed

– Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

– Supervise monthly accounting close

– Business license and gross receipts summarizing

– Look after Accounts Payable

– Additional special projects if necessary

– Skilled in credit card management and reconciliation

– Familiar with Accounts Receivable

Job Requirements:
– Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision

– Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

– BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred

– Remarkable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

– Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

– Payroll systems for 100-500 employees experience

– Payroll experience required

– Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

– Vow to meet business deadlines

– Proven analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

– 2+ years of related experience- Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
