Fulfillment Center AssociatePart-Time, Non-exemptReports to: CEO We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic part-time Fulfillment Associate to join our team. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be responsible for offloading stock deliveries, processing work orders, locating merchandise, and packaging orders for shipment.To ensure success as a Fulfillment Associate, you should have a good understanding of warehousing procedures, a good eye for detail, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Ultimately, a top-class Fulfillment Associate processes orders quickly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have a High School diploma or equivalentMust be willing and able to work all shiftsMust be willing and able to work overtime as requiredExcellent Customer Service SkillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPointExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to lead, communicate, present and influence all levels of the organizationStrong organizational skills, excellent listening skills, strong negotiation and presentation skills and a keen attention to detailStrong attention to detail.Ability to lift heavy objects.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced entrepreneurial environmentA high comfort-level in a fast-paced environmentAbility to handle data with confidentiality Exceptional organizational and time management skillsPrevious experience as a Fulfillment AssociateMust be able to handle the demands of the physical requirements associated with the jobMust be willing to undergo a background check Physical FactorsPrimarily standing with bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, walking and lifting up to 50 poundsPicking, pulling, and packing orders and counting inventoryTypical Working Conditions will include inside work at the corporate office or onsite at facility warehouse Equipment Used:Desktop or laptop computerCopier/Printer/Office TelephoneMail Postage MeterCell phone (employees personal cell) Essential Job Responsibilities:Committed to exceptional customer service.Performed daily cycle counts of inventory to control costs, ensure order accuracy, and improve customer service standards as required.Provide superior customer service, technical support and product knowledge via phone, email, and in person at special events.Provided quality customer service, order fulfillment (over 1000 orders), inventory management, packaging, and merchandising.Input data accurately in system and stow merchandise for fulfillment of customer orders.Fulfill customer orders and assure a high level of quality and productivity.Insure proper and fast processing of customer orders and facility inventory.Identify and solve problems when customer orders are processed incorrectly.Complete customer orders accurately and efficientlyPick customer orders and troubleshoot production problems to resolutionComplete customer orders quickly while fulfilling customer request.Retrieve all customer orders for shipping preparation.Offloading delivery trucks transporting merchandise into the warehouse.Arranging incoming deliveries in designated storage areas.Performing warehouse duties using pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and forklifts.Reading and deciphering work orders.Locating and extracting merchandise from shelves and storage areas.Confirming merchandise information matches that of the work order.Inspecting the merchandise for damage, flaws, and irregularities.Packing the merchandise for delivery.Transporting the packed items to the delivery trucks.Finalizing the work order and updating the database.Adhering to state health and safety practices. Please note: This job description was designed as a summary of the typical function of the job, and is not a comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities.
