has a new opportunity for a Freight Broker in beautiful Green Bay, Wisconsin.
This position will serve as a liaison between freight carriers and customers.
Responsibilities include securing new accounts and communicating with dispatchers, drivers, and clients.
Additionally, this position will negotiate current and future contracts to help maximize organizational profits.
As a Freight Broker, you will:Generate new leads and develop new customers.Identify and onboard new carriers based on compliance requirements.Provide customers with quotes when necessary.Book and negotiate loads with carriers.Work with shippers and carriers to schedule pick-ups and deliveries.Track shipments currently in progress and report any service issues to customers immediately.Follow loads to completion and update all accessorials and detention as needed.Handle all claims from start to finish.NOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.Must have a High School Diploma/GED.Preferred Qualifications:2 years of sales experience.Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, or related field.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must maintain working knowledge of the market.Self-driven and able to work autonomously.Excellent negotiating skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal direction.Ability to problem solve independently.Ability to maintain excellent record keeping.Ability to travel overnight occasionally by surface or air as business necessary.
