Description: The Formulations Scientist is responsible for understanding formulation in the aseptic process to homogenize active pharmaceutical ingredients.
Our company completes a three step process to formulate, fill, and finish, so this person’s role is critical in making sure the recipe is accurate.
Duties include following recipes (SOPs
– Standard Operating Procedures), setting up the lab, performing process flows, doing in process testing, performing API dissolution, documenting under GMP regulations, handling process deviations, and writing investigations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other Life Sciences field 2 years of formulation/compounding in a GMP environment About Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
