A food manufacturing company is looking for a Planning & Production Coordinator to join their office in San Francisco, CA.
This position is responsible for ensuring that the adequate inventory level is maintained for all co-packed items by coordinating production efforts and resolving issues arising from production, transportation and warehousing activities for the co-packed items.
Must have an AA degree and 1-2 years of project management experience.
This is a full-time, in-person position, Monday – Friday, non-exempt with excellent benefits and 401K.
Planning & Production Coordinator Duties:Maintain item registration, cost of ingredients, and production info in citrix Schedule production, arrange necessary raw materials for co-packers, and inventory reconciliation of raw materialsReport to the Assistant Manager and/or Senior Manager in the Planning & Production department Ensure receipt of COA and maintain in record Communicate/ resolve billing and payment issue with co-packers and vendors Review vendors and copackers’ invoices Review product label and maintain in files Maintain internal scanned label info spreadsheet Planning & Production Coordinator Skills: AA degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience 1-2 years scheduling/project management (in the inventory, supply chain, logistics, or food and beverage industry preferred) Good communication skill (internal & outside, such as clients, co-packers including negotiation, complain handling) Basic PC Skills (MS Office Suite) Fast learner Detail oriented This position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment.
