Verifies that all elements of the product meet the specifications of the product design by utilizing non-destructive testing and/or using measurement instruments in coordination with design specifications.
To receive, check-in, and forward materials, supplies, and equipment to the end-user or next processing station.
Monitors special process operations to verify compliance, and documents all activities in writing.
This primary responsibility of this position will require the calibration on all instruments, gauges and maintain lusing Gagetrak or a similar Gauge management system.Responsibilities & Requirements:ResponsibilitiesMust be able to calibrate, repair, maintain and/or demonstrate knowledge of calibration of variety of gauge/tools such as pressure gages, mechanical hand tools (caliper, micrometer, height gage, depth gage, thread gages…etc.) according to establish procedures.Maintain Gauge management system (Gagetrak or similar database) to ensure Gauge data accuracy.Interact and manage Calibration suppliers including collect gages, update Gagetrak (before gauges sent to the supplier, after gauges coming back from the supplier, load in approved certs, and release gauges back to the shop).Provide technical support as needed regarding to gauge usage, correct use of gage (which gauge out there is available to use on certain measurement).Sets up calibration sequences according to specifications and tool usage.Disassembles, cleans and repairs gauges, as neededOperates PC as necessary uses Baan, Agile and the time/attendance system.RequirementsSix (6) + years of previous experience as an inspector of machined parts, machine part assemblies, several years of which must have been related to pump products or a demonstrated equivalent of knowledge and ability.
