Join our team as a Flood Underwriter in Training! This role will allow you to become a full Flood Production Underwriter in 6 months! Qualified candidates must be located in the Los Angeles, California area.
Each Underwriter is a vital member of our teams, providing:
Successfully create and manage a profitable book of new and renewal business
Prospect for new business by developing relationships with retail agents through both traditional and creative marketing strategies
Remain up to date with new insurance companies’ offers and how to leverage them
Prospect for new business markets and/or lines to write with sales techniques based in trust and relationship building
Mentor and train new team members
We are looking for people with:
Minimum 1-2 years of underwriting (Commercial & Personal Lines) experience
This role will be an accelerated (6 month) growth process into an Experienced Flood Underwriter
Bachelor’s degree not required but preferred
Knowledge of the sales process and pipeline management
Ability to travel up to 25%
Licensed preferred

Pursuant to California regulation, the salary range for this position is $64,480 to $65,000, and includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
