Position SummaryThe Crater I will have knowledge of carpentry and will be trained to build boxes and crates for equipment and machinery.
This position will float to the location where their assistance is most needed with a ‘home’ base in Milwaukee.
The Floating Crater could travel between Milwaukee, Cudahy, & Muskego with no set schedule.
May also be required to travel to customer sites and flex to 2nd shift hours if there is a need.Primary Responsibilities:
· Build crates to specifications using measuring tools and wood cutting machinery.
· Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
· Travel between AW2 sites but may also be required to travel to Customer sites
· Responsible for crating and packing medical equipment for international and domestic orders.
· Must follow recycling program and housekeeping rules.
· Adhere to all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
· Work overtime as required and at the end of each quarter.Qualification Requirements:
· Ability to pass a TSA background check.
· Valid Driver’s License
· Bi-Lingual preferred
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Must have knowledge in the operation of wood cutting machinery.
· Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
· Willing to work extended hours as needed.
· Good communication skills within the organization.
· Familiar with safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
· Ability to follow work instructions with high attention to detail.
· Work in a team environment and give assistance to co-workers.
· Ability to work overtime as required.
