We are a financial services recruitment firm and currently are working with a top tier firm in the downtown LA that is seeking a Fixed Income Trader.
Duties include:
Domestic Bond Trading
Market Surveillance – Monitor the market and communicate factors that impact portfolio’s buy/sell decisions.
This includes understanding economic fundamentals, supply and demand dynamics, seasonal events and technical factors that drive the market.
Portfolio Construction – Analyze, propose and execute trades
Portfolio Monitoring – Track portfolio’s for proper structure, sector weightings and duration.
Understand account guidelines
Must have a degree.
– gpa of 3.0 at min – ideal is 3.3 and a CFA Level I is required.
