Maritime Undersea (MU) is a growing business focused on delivering complex solutions from seabed to space.

We are seeking a Field Service Rep to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA supporting multiple customers and broad array of products, from unique Integration Mission solutions to highly capable Autonomous Extra-Large Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (XLUUV).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical field support of maritime undersea products.
  • Performs troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems coverage.
  • Resolves maintenance and operational issues.

    Interprets technical documents and monitors product performance.

  • Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures.
  • Develops and conducts ad hoc training.
  • Perform installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware for maritime undersea projects, including XLUUVs, payloads, and other integrated missions solutions.
  • Support fabrication and test of prototype maritime undersea structural/electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems including troubleshooting of manufacturing and design defects.
  • Desired hands-on skills in mechanical assembly build experience including drilling, fastening, crane operations.
  • Coordinates with other functional teams to coordinate repair and maintenance of vehicles including engineering, lab operations, supply chain and inventory management and transportation teams.
  • Local, short-term at-sea test operation support to ensure mission success.

**This position requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret U.S.

Security Clearance post start for which the U.S.

Government requires U.S.

Citizenship.

An interim and/or final U.S.

Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • 5 years of work related experience in field

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working in an at-sea environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Knowledge of general maintenance and environment processes (FOD control, tool control, health & safety)
  • Ability to support off-hours if needed to support urgent program needs
  • Military background or aerospace experience, with experience in submarine electronics or mechanical/auxiliary systems maintenance and troubleshooting a plus
  • An interest in developing Undersea Products and learning more about the unique considerations for these environments
  • Strong communication skills
  • Active US Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Willing to submit to a CI Polygraph

Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g.

Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g.

Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).

Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.

Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift: This position is for 1st shift.
