This role will be reporting to the Career Operations Manager.Job DescriptionDuties/Responsibilities[The following reflects duties for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.

Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time for business reasons.] Retrieve commission statements from various carriers using various methodsPrepare weekly and monthly commission filesReview data entries, calculations and outputs with a high degree of detail in order to identify discrepancies and perform corrections and revisions timelySummarize and submit commission calculations for reviewRespond to commission questions from other departments in a timely and effective mannerTrack, research and resolve calculation-related inquiries and exceptions including disputesActively participate and contribute to the continual improvement of best practices and processes to enhance efficiencies and reduce risk of errorSupport annual audit deliverables related to compensation payoutsExecute ad-hoc analytic requestsQualificationsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExceptional written and oral communication skillsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and data managementKeen attention to detailTeam-first attitudeProven track record of taking initiativeHigh degree of discretion; ability to maintain confidentialityAbility to problem solve, find creative solutionsUnderstanding of business needs and the willingness and ability to be available after hours as needed during busy commission cycles and to meet tight payroll deadlinesFlexible and openness to new ideas and changes to comp plans, and having the insights to recognize challenges and/or opportunities in order to address them ahead of timeWillingness to accept new challenges, being curious about how things work, and finding solutions to potential issuesAbility to adapt to a fast-paced and quickly changing environment, multi-task and manage competing priorities with multiple deadlines, and a willingness to roll-up sleeves to get the job doneMust demonstrate high energy, initiative and creativity
