MUST BE U.S CITIZEN OR LEGAL TO WORK IN U.S 2 years of Air or Ocean Export Operations experience in an international freight forwarder 2 years of Customer Service experience Full Job Description Due to continued growth, we are looking for a full-time Operations Agent to join our Los Angeles office Operations team with opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage shipments from booking at origin through to door delivery Prepare and review air export documentation (SLI, duties, Commercial Invoice, Pack List, etc.) Verify cargo and perform receiving at the warehouse when necessary Track and update order and shipment status Communicate with the origin, vendors, service providers, carriers, etc. to collect/confirm costs Determine optimal and cost-effective shipping methods and prepare quotations/proposals Analyze opportunities to reduce transportation time and costs by negotiating with carriers, agents or customers Generate and send invoices to customers, monitor customer receivables and payment terms in a timely manner Provide customer service by phone and email.
