The Village Vet in the Atwater Village/Silverlake area of Los Angeles is hiring a Veterinary Assistant/RVT to join our amazing team!
The Village Vet is seeking a highly-skilled, enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant or Technician for our very busy 4+ doctor GP practice. Our focus is on quality patient care, exceptional customer service and a team that consistently rocks!
The Ideal Candidate will be Experienced with:
Venipunture: IV catheter placements and blood draws
Knowledge of common medications used in a GP setting
Proficiency operating IDEXX lab equipment
Assisting the doctor in surgery and monitoring hospitalized patients
Cornerstone experience preferred
Exceptional Client communication
Requirements
2 years experience as a Veterinary Assistant/RVT in a veterinary hospital preferred
Available to work weekends and some holidays
Great interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
Open-minded and team oriented
Preferences
RVT licensed preferred, but not required; or actively pursuing licensing.
