Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) is seeking an Experienced Product Cybersecurity Engineer (Level 3) to join our team in Seattle, WA or Everett, WA .
The successful candidate will work with multiple disciplinary teams to develop airplane level security assessments.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of cyber security concepts and techniques including network architecture, embedded systems security and PKI infrastructure.This is a union represented position.Position Responsibilities:Develops, implements, and sustains product security and resiliency throughout the requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle.Develops and enhances system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements.Ensures security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product: design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support.Defines and identifies product security requirements for suppliers of components and subsystems for integration into Boeing products and services.Coordinates with governments, customers, suppliers, and industry to identify risks and improve industry and regulatory security standards and requirements for programs and interfacing systems.Conducts research and development activities resulting in innovative solutions.Advises customers on maintaining product security and certification, including security consequences of modifying products and services.Work Authorization:This position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S.

Citizenship only.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry1 years of experience in Cyber security.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):1 years of experience with deriving and allocating requirements (e.g., system, sub-system, software) and showing traceability throughout the product lifecycle.1 years of experience working in the Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test).Experience or coursework in security network architecture, embedded systems security, security testing and evaluation, network design, software engineering, and PKI infrastructure.Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
ABET accredited.Certification in any of the following: CompTIA Security, Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).Completed college level coursework in cyber security.Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g.
Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g.
PhD, Master3 years’ related work experience).
