Your ProfileYou want to be in the music industry with a desire to grow within a companyYou are comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects at handYou are able to organize and manage large amounts of files, tasks, schedules, and informationYou are self-directed and able to work without supervisionYou are energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideasYou are comfortable in both a leadership and team-player role and are also able to support other staff membersYou are able to answers phone inquiries, directs calls for executive team, and in general enjoy communicating with stakeholdersYou are able to perform all clerical duties, taking memos, maintaining files and confidential information, organizing documents as needed.You have the ability to perform your duties with a large degree of confidentiality What You’ll Be DoingThis role is a combination of heavy administrative and creative marketing duties with a willingness for increased responsibilities.Managing the EVP of Recorded Music NY’s extensive schedule in Microsoft Office and MS Teams.Acting as a liaison to the recorded, international inbound, international outbound and Canadian marketing teams.Performing clerical duties, setting meetings, taking comprehensive notes, maintaining music reports in MS Excel, weekly departmental report and organizing documents.Preparing Powerpoint presentations/creative decks, as well as maintaining recorded deal documents, and correspondence/scheduling of department meetings.Handling confidential information; creation, implementation and organizing files, reports and artist deals.Planning/organizing events such as business luncheons, studio visits and client dinners.Arranging travel, accommodation, itineraries, and all correspondence related to arrangements as needed.Preparing information and research for executive needs.Will help plan company events, meetings, and employee team building activities or special projects.Must-HavesProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars a must.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to concentrate on multiple problems/tasks at once.Excellent time management and prioritization skills.Plus, not a must.Prior experience in the music or entertainment industry is beneficial, but not essential.
