Job Description Wanderlust Creamery is an LA-based ice cream company known for its travel-inspired artisanal ice cream, with 6 locations in Los Angeles and a weekly residence at SmorgasburgLA. We are looking for an event team lead to join us every Sunday at Smorgasburg in DTLA, as well as be on-call for our catering gigs (corporate events, weddings, etc.), and who will also work some shifts as a server in our FOH team at our Fairfax store. All shifts begin and end at our Fairfax store (West Hollywood area), and you will be traveling in a company vehicle to the events. This is a perfect position for someone who is looking for a side gig, as we only guarantee 16 hours per week plus more depending on the number of catering gigs we book on any given week. We are looking for staff who will attend to the many needs of event-goers and customers in store, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels. Event Staff Responsibilities: Driving the company vehicle to and from events / catering gigs. Loading and unloading equipment from trucks and setting up venues for events and building our service setups. Operating cash registers. Working under the instructions of an Event Manager. Ensuring the event storage space in our warehouse is clean and organized. Adhering to event safety standards. Ensuring excellent levels of customer service. Inspecting equipment for damage after use and checking it against an inventory list. Packing up equipment when the event is completed. In-store FOH Server Responsibilities: Provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Qualifications and Requirements: Must be available to work EVERY Sunday from 7am – 6:30pm. Physical stamina and high energy levels. MUST BE ABLE TO STAND FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME AND LIFT 50 POUNDS OR MORE. Outstanding organizational skills. Diligence and attention to detail.
