Hours : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm/ must work PST

Location : Remote / Ability to travel domestically and internationally

About FIDO Alliance

The FIDO Alliance is seeking an experienced Event s Specialist to organize excellent industry and member events. Reporting to FIDO Alliance’s Senior Events & Marketing Manager, the Events Specialist will be a critical contributor to FIDO Alliance’s events program – including its flagship Authenticate conference. The FIDO Alliance Events Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning, organization, and execution of events that promote the organization’s mission and goals. This includes coordinating with vendors and suppliers, assisting with event project management , and ensuring that all aspects of the event run smoothly in order to ensure sponsor satisfaction and retention. The Events Specialist will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with events and marketing leads from members and partners of the FIDO Alliance.

About the Role

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Answer general inquiries and serve as an additional resource for all FIDO Alliance events
  • Serve as lead for event s project management, including utilization of online tools and platforms
  • Interface with potential and current event sponsors, including targeted outreach to help achieve revenue objectives
  • Ensur e timely delivery of event information to sponsors and other stakeholders
  • Assist with on-site event set-up, execution , and follow-up
  • Produce status reports for the marketing team and other FIDO Alliance
  • Provide input, direction , and logistical support for event s giveaways
  • Maintain records of all event bookings and contracts
  • Support event speakers if/as assigned by management
  • Execution of added tasks as assigned by Sr. Events & Marketing Manager

About You

  • 4-year degree in Marketing or Hospitality
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in event planning, project management, marketing , or similar detail-oriented with a keen eye for small details
  • Ability to multi-task keeping moving parts of various event s organized
  • Creative problem solver accustomed to thinking outside the box
  • Passion for events
  • Proficient in MS Office, G Suite
  • Experience with Cvent or other event platforms is strongly preferred
