Events Specialist
Job Summary :Talent Software Services is in search of aEventsSpecialist for a
contract position in Fort Mill , SC.The opportunity will be Twelve months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.
Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- This position is on an as-needed basis and hours may vary Events are held on weekends with occasional weekday shifts Interact at on-site with customers in order to promote programs and services of SoCalGas Company to act as a brand ambassador and increase participation.
- Impact targets by performing demonstrations and supporting and executing field marketing and segment activities.
- Execute install and dismantle tasks for events, including pick-up and drop-off when needed.
- Work with various and diverse corporate/field marketing managers to determine appropriate customized program details.
- Work with various and diverse customer demographic to achieve positive program promotion Promote campaigns/programs and work with SoCalGas employees, 3rd Party Program representatives, and external agencies to raise customer awareness and program participation Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience is preferred in any of the following fields: sales, marketing, customer service, promotional marketing, modeling, teaching, communications, talent agency or on camera work
- Previous promotional experience is a plus
- Must be able to interact positively with a diverse audience
- Must be able to walk up to 5 miles a day and temporarily lift up to 45 lbs Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Strong customer service abilities Appropriate attire and representation of the company
- Great interpersonal skills – must be an effective communicator Strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a high-energy environment Professionalism Ability to attract and engage consumers Highly organized, dedicated, reliable, responsive, and flexible
- Must have individual, reliable transportation and willingness to transport supplies when needed
- Must be able to work flexible hours Bilingual Chinese High school diploma (or equivalent) require Must sign a photo and video use and rights release
