ERP Admin (Island Pacific)

The ERP Administrator is a key member of the Enterprise System team and will serve as the system leader for the Island Pacific Retail ERP business applications and services across the enterprise.

This position will manage the performance, stability, security, processes, configuration, and interfaces of our Retail ERP System.

This role will own and advise on the management direction of Island Pacific ERP system; and partner with the business teams to create and align ERP solutions to meet our corporate goals.

Job Description
Ensure the performance and reliability of our Retail ERP system (Island Pacific) by monitoring and working with our FNTS Hosting partner Participate in projects to implement, test and design the various ERP components and applications.

Manage and Install new software releases and system upgrades/patches in both the Island Pacific, and the AS/400 system.

Manage the integrity of security design and engineering for the ERP applications and systems, including the implementation of backup and recovery processes.

Administers ERP systems security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.

Monitor process logs and interface feeds between critical systems to ensure successful processing.

Troubleshoot and resolves complex hardware and software technical problems with Island Pacific, including issues within the ERP applications, databases, and servers.

Perform support function of Island Pacific Point-of-Sale systems within our store locations.

Stay up to date and partner with their Island Pacific by attending user days, conferences and taking part in online forums.

Maintain effective relationship with ERP partners, and business teams.

Contributes to maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the Technology team.

Perform a variety of tasks as required by the VP of Enterprise Solutions.

Work under minimum supervision.

This position will report to the VP of Enterprise Solutions. 
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science, or related area 3-5 years of experience working with Island Pacific Retail ERP System (specifically the Merchandising, Planning, Point-of-Sale, and Financial Modules) 5+ years of experience managing AS/400 systems 8+ years managing Application systems Understanding of the businesses processes related to Retail ERP systems and the communication between multiple systems Understanding of the need for Disaster Recovery planning and system testing.

The documentation and communication skills that allow them to articulate technical information to non-technical teams.

Be ‘Business’ literate and understand the activities of our Retail business.

Availability to work on-site during normal business hours (9am
– 6pm), and provide emergency remote support after hours.
