Equipment Leasing Coordinator

nnESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/KEY DUTIES nn nn
· Assist in the administration of commercial equipment lease and loan documentation and the closing and funding of transactions.

This includes verifying the documentation and maintaining paper and electronic records.

· Responsible for the input and accuracy of all transactional database entries necessary to fund, close, and perfect the contract and underlying equipment.

This includes approving transactions for funding that fall within established funding limits.

· Ensure that transaction legal documentation meets Dakota’s standards and policies and that all credit requirements have been met prior to funding.

· Provide excellent customer service to origination sources and customers throughout the documentation, review and funding process.

nn nn
· Perform due diligence on each transaction to prevent fraudulent transactions.

nn nn
· Verify corporate names and status and order lien searches to ensure Dakota has a first priority security interest.

nn nn
· Price each transaction and compare with established rates to ensure Dakota is meeting program yields.

nn nn
· Suggest refinements to workflow processes and recommend changes to policies and procedures in order to increase operational efficiencies.

· Initiate and maintain neat and accurate transaction files.

nn nn
· Responsible for tracking each transaction, whether pending or closed with follow up and keeping an updated work list.

· Minimum of 4 years credit experience nn nn
· Possess good judgment, ability to accept responsibility and handle confidential information nn nn
· Strong time management skills, finance, documentation, and communication skills nn nn
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure and prioritize workload nn nn
· Must be detail oriented and possess effective organizational skills nn nn
· Ability to play detective as an Underwriter to ensure information accuracynn
