MID-LEVEL ASSOCIATE: EMPLOYMENT, LABOR & WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT ADVICE AND COUNSELINGLos AngelesTheLos Angelesoffice of Epstein Becker Green is seeking a mid-level associate in its growing national management-side Employment, Labor and Workforce Management practice.Candidates should have a minimum of four years of relevant experience in employment law counseling and compliance.

Relevant experience includes preparation of employment policies and agreements, counseling on employee relations issues such as discipline and termination, accommodation requests, and leaves of absence, and conducting workplace investigations.

Anti-harassment and other employment training experience is preferred.Ideal candidates will also have knowledge of federal and state labor & employment laws (e.G., wage and hour, trade secret law, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and similar state laws).Experience handling certain aspects of litigation such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, drafting pleadings and various motions and briefs, conducting and defending depositions, interacting with clients and opposing counsel, and attending court appearances is preferred.Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent communication and writing skills.
