Entertainment Legal Assistant

Prestigious Entertainment Law Firm located in Century City is seeking a driven and competent Legal Assistant / Attorney Assistant to join their team.

This is an exciting position which requires an ambitious legal candidate who has their JD to join exceptional group and work for a top partner.

This team is looking to bring someone on as soon as possible to facilitate day to day meetings, client correspondence and the full scope of editing, drafting, proofing and executing legal documents and agreements.

Must have JD or be in completion of JD.

What you’ll do:
Handle various administrative tasks including rolling calls, taking notes, filing/document organization, sending agreements, and drafting formal correspondence.

Prepare, edit and proofread legal documents Draft, redline, and review a variety of agreements, including licensing agreements, artist agreements, summaries of rights, appearance releases, etc.

Schedule meetings, prepare presentations, and handle sensitive communication between inside and outside contacts Provide ad hoc support to additional teams as needed
 

What you’ll need:
1-3+ years of experience in Entertainment Law, Agency, or Business Affairs (REQUIRED) Bachelor’s degree required JD required Polished and professional communication style Ability to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities Commitment to proactivity and organization in all work Desire to grow within entertainment law

Please note: While the firm is working remotely, we anticipate a return to office in the summer.

We need a local LA candidate with experience in entertainment, at an agency, or with business affairs internships.
