University in the Los Angeles (90045) are is seeking an Enrollment Services Officer to join their team.
This role is responsible for application review and rendering admission decisions as well as managing work flow to meet deadlines, including escalation of admission review when appropriate.
Ensures the University stays up to date in the knowledge and use of multiple data systems, including but not limited to People Soft, SalesForce, data imaging systems, and online application system.
Responsible for collecting and tracking admissions files.
Creates and coordinates matriculation amongst students regarding admission status.
Performs process audits on student enrollment processes to ensure matriculation and enrollment.
The officer must ensure the accurate, efficient and timely processing of application review and entering student information into required databases.
Perform review of submitted applications according to established rubrics.
Conduct initial transcript evaluation at the time of admission.
Communicate with team members to track application review progress and to ensure decisions are rendered in a timely manner.
Ensure that admissions decisions are communicated to relevant team members, and reflected within all necessary systems.
Liaison with external partners to ensure timely communication of information regarding application decisions.
Communicate frequently with the Manager regarding the quality of applicants and progress of applications through the processing stages.
Suggest improvements to application review rubrics and processes, in consultation with team members and administrators Assist with school wide events such as orientation and graduation.
Create and maintain applicant files in all relevant systems Process admitted students in the systems, perform quality control by verifying official documents, respond to inquiries from internal team members regarding admission application process and status Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Uphold University mission through work performed.
Job Requirements:
Experience within University Admissions (preferably in a graduate academic environment) Skills in database management, analyzing data and/or other related functions or data entry (preferred Salesforce, Excel) Bachelor’s degree and/or 1-3 years of experience in admissions, application review and/or transcript evaluation Demonstrated success in process planning and workflow.
Exhibits excellence in customer service and teamwork.
Please note this a is a hybrid contract position for 4-6 months.
