Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking a Technical Sales & Promotion Engineer (Stormwater Products) to join our growing stormwater team. Contech is the leader in stormwater solutions, helping engineers, contractors and owners with infrastructure and land development projects. Contech offers a wide range of stormwater treatment and storage products to address stormwater runoff concerns. These products range from traditional BMP s such as underground detention, hydrodynamic separators and filtration systems to LID solutions. The technical Promotion Engineer (Stormwater Products) is responsible for driving sales through marketing and promotion of Contech s innovative stormwater management solutions. The territory will include the state of Los Angeles/Ventura area. Primary Responsibilities Leverage technical skills to conduct presentations, develop project specifications and grow project pipeline. Develop and maintain professional relationships with accounts including consulting engineering firms, regulatory agencies, contractors, developers and landscape architects. Manage pipeline using CRM to measure project specific performance. Update continuously to ensure information is timely, accurate and complete. Provide technical and marketing assistance to other Contech team members as needed. Continuously improve technical expertise and knowledge of Contech Stormwater Products, Competitive products and Civil Engineering infrastructure trends. Acquire and continuously improve consultative marketing and transactional selling skills. Account ownership own the client relationship and leverage internal support network to deliver solutions. Attend local Engineering functions such as ASCE meetings and participate at local tradeshows. Other duties as assigned. Requirements BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field. P.E. Preferred 3+ years industry experience including 1+ years specifying stormwater products, technical field promotion or stormwater regulatory involvement preferred. Ability to understand the engineer of record, site owner and contractor s needs and guide them to the appropriate product solution for each stormwater project. Ability to communicate technical information, concepts and applications very effectively using consultative marketing skills. Efficient at interpreting Civil Site plans Proficient in Microsoft office, CRM Must have valid Driver s license Travel 40% Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $60,000 – $90,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: Yes
