Electronics Engineer

The Opportunity Silvus Technologies is seeking a Junior Level Electronics Engineer to participate in the design and development of a new wireless product line and contribute to advanced wireless systems RD. The candidate will be working with a cross functional team to develop and test the hardware and software of Silvusrsquo StreamCaster MANET radios and other products. The candidate will have the opportunity to participate in all aspects of the product design and validation cycles. Technical Responsibilities The Junior Electronics Engineer is responsible for the following tasksmiddot Electronic components selection and evaluation.middot PCBA schematic capture and review.middot Testing system hardware and software development.middot Hardware and software system testing and troubleshooting.middot Mechanical components selection and evaluation.middot Cable harness specification and review.middot Create design documents, drawings, and test reports. QualificationsMust be a U.S. person, U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident due to clients under U.S. government contracts. Requiredmiddot Bachelor in EE or CS or other relevant fields required. Master Degree desirable. Desirablemiddot Experience with wireless communication systems.middot Experience with electronic systems designs.middot Experience with electronic test instruments such as signal generator, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscopes.middot Experience with C, Python, and Linux shell scripting.middot Experience with PCB or Mechanical design.
