Electrical Project Engineer
– Southern California  Location: Los Angeles Metropolitan Area Scope of Work Applications are designed around layered, multi-technology approach comprised of industrial grade products including IP cameras, video analytics, radar (both underground and drone), speakers, video management systems, networking and power.

Requires travel, working mostly remote and field work, including but not limited to; climbing and use of ladders, working in confined spaces, and familiarity working within active construction areas.  Responsibilities Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines Engineering support of projects lifecycle, from design thru project closure Drive projects to completion through hand-on approach Design, implementation and commissioning of projects that include: L3 and L2 networking Video Management System VMWare support Video Management Video Walls support Field Cameras Ground Based and Drone Detection Radar systems Wireless and Microwave systems Cultivate strong working relationships, both internal and external  On-site contractor and customer training Directly manage and coordinate front-line technical team Innovating solutions and quickly resolving issues  Liaising with Account Manager and HQ to secure resources to push project(s) forward Requirements BSEE or equivalent Project Engineering experience  Video and/or radar knowledge a plus  Relevant electrical engineering experience Basic networking experience, L2, with L3 a plus CCNA Cisco Certification or higher, a plus  Good written and verbal skills Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Able to work successfully in the field in both a team-based environment and independently Experience working with Contractors, Integrators and End Users Benefits Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Sick Leave Medical and Dental  401(k) plan with employer matching With over 90 years’ combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world’s leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining, Automotive and Chemicals sectors worldwide.With more than 100 offices in 45 countries, we are able to provide our clients with the engineering and technical expertise they need, wherever and whenever it is needed.
