AKKA Technologies (Parent Company of PDS) is currently looking for a Electrical Harness Design Engineer II that will be responsible for designing and developing an HYPERLOOP vehicle pod and test rigs harnesses. You will also support the different work package teams to develop the design. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain 3D harness routingCreate harness drawings + part listTrace technical issues and problems to root causeSupport Quality issuesDocument processes, specifications and procedures that support the integration teamDevelop and maintain the electrical library while possessing the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent disciplineKnowledge of manufacturing techniques and methodologiesProficient in 3D model generation, component, and assembly print generationStrong electrical design experience using NX, CAD, and Teamcenter and experience working with minimal guidance2+ years of experience in electrical design with the ability to showcase your expertise The following is NOT REQUIRED, but it NICE TO HAVE: Problem solver with detailed research experienceExperience within an aerospace, railway, automotive, or defense organizationKnowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures of wiring harnessExperience using Siemens Unigraphics NX 8 or higherExperience using PLM / PDM software such as TeamcenterAbility to manage complex harness routing (>50 connectors) and multi-task effectivelyExperience in use of Zuken software Akka Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
