Description: Client is currently looking for an established Electrical Designer or an emerging Electrical Engineer who is actively involved with Design, Engineering and Site Visits not a manager or director.
In this role, individual will work with leadership and be mentored by experienced engineers who will help mentor you as an emerging professional within the Electrical Discipline.
Your initial role will be design via revit, performing load calculations, determining system sizing and layouts, calculating equipment sizes, selecting equipment, completing field surveys, and reviewing equipment shop drawings.
After a few weeks and project experience, you will take on a greater role in leading electrical project teams, writing specifications, participating in project meetings with clients and other consultants, and supporting construction-phase work.
Primary Function of Role: Design of power distribution, electrical control, and lighting systems.
Commercial Buildings (e.g.
Education Facilities, Commercial Buildings, Corporate Office Space etc) Coordination with internal design teams.
Production of drawings and supervision of designers/drafters Writing specifications Coordination with Clients to effectively deliver systems meeting client expectations Skills: Electrical Engineer, electrical design engineering, Building Systems Engineer, Revit, Electrical design, Electrical Building Systems, Design Engineering, Electrical Designer, AutoCAD, Auto CAD Top Skills Details: Electrical Engineer,electrical design engineering,Building Systems Engineer Additional Skills & Qualifications: Minimum Expectations: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (ABET Accredited) Professional Registration is a requirement or becoming registered within one year.
(EI or Sr.
Designer is Acceptable) Minimum of 5 years experience Ability to deal with contractors and collaborate within the team.
Knowledge of electrical code related issues and construction practices Outstanding teamwork, written and communications skills Self-motivation Occasional over-night travel (up to 5%) Revit skills are important.
