ABC Technologies’ core business as an Automotive Tier 1 supplier is in the Design, Development and Production of plastic automotive systems and components for OEMs worldwide.

THE OPPORTUNITYSupports the progression and continuous improvement of ABC’s EMS and HSMS.

Writes and maintains generic procedures and maintains the document control system.

Assists in the development and implementation of site-specific EHS goals and targets.

There is a strong focus on maintaining workers compensation.

Responsibilities: WHAT YOU WILL DO:Provides or recommends EHS training.Assists site managers in completing the ongoing aspect & impact and risk assessments.Develops and maintains a list of applicable health, safety, and environmental laws and communicates any changes to ensure legal compliance, on a timely basis.Applies and maintains workers compensation requirementsAssists in completing internal compliance audits for Gallatin, TN sites.Assists in change management process including line and new process reviews.Assists with incident investigations when necessary.Assists with government & customer reporting requirementsConducts site EHS audits at all Gallatin, TN sites including various inspections (emergency equipment, knife audits, ladders, etc.).Must have a strong track record of showing initiative in the workplace, managing workloads with limited direct supervision, communicating well for continuous improvement and process ownership.Participates and facilitates Joint Health and Safety Committee meetings as required.Conducts and attends EMS and HSMS internal audits at North American ABC sitesKeeps the EHS Manager updated on activities.Performs other duties assigned by the EHS Manager.

Qualifications: WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLEMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree2-3 years experience in industrial EHS
