Transthoracic Echocardiogram or TTE, with Color, Spectral Doppler and 2-D imagingMay assist with Transesophageal Echocardiogram TEE, Stress Echocardiogram or Pharmacologic Stress Echocardiogram, TTE with bubbles, TTE with Contrast and advanced TTE such as TTE with 3D imaging, for both inpatient and outpatient studiesThe Echo Sonographer II serves as preceptor for students and new hiresWorks in collaboration with the non-invasive cardiac laboratory and is a member of the Echo LaboratoryEducation:
Graduate of an accredited ultrasound school required
License/Certifications:
Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or RCS issued by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) requiredBLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-time Cardiac Sonographer required
