Goodwill Southern California is looking for E-Commerce associates to join our incredibly entrepreneurial team. You will be part of a growing e-commerce team that is focused on growing direct-to-consumer sales, improving the web shopping experience and updating web content for effective merchandising. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of e-commerce in an entry level position. The E-Commerce Operations Associate I maintains and purges inventory and leads to achieve the efficient operation of the E-Commerce department. The Associate meets established goals for department safety and expense control, and merchandise picking, packing and shipping. Per government requirements, this role required to be fully COVID- 19 vaccinated.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintains inventory according to established rotation schedules for replenishment needs.
- Purges outdated merchandise.
- Operates Zebra scanner for inventory control.
- Picks merchandise items for shipping upon receipt of online orders.
- Operates Packsize machine (box maker) and IBS for shipping labels.
- Processes documents for Fedex, USPS, and OS
- Lists books, DVD’s, and other media items for sale.; Organizes inventory
- Responds to customer pick up questions and resolves or escalates concerns as needed.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Maintains accurate production logs.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Basic computer literacy required; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook email application and internet skills preferred.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English required; quality assurance or control experience helpful.
- Customer service, merchandise handling, and/or shipping/warehouse experience preferred.
- Quality assurance or control experience helpful.
- Shift flexibility and overtime when needed.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Punctual and dependable attendance.
- Free from alcohol and drug abuse.
- Understands the basic philosophy of Goodwill and participates fully in carrying out its mission.

- Evening and weekend availability required.
- Must have basic knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel and E-mail.
