We are a General Contractor looking for a Draftsman to work with our team.
Responsiblities:
* Reading plans and assist the general contractor in doing job estimates/ material take-offs
* Acquiring understanding of the requirements of the project/program at hand
* Liaising with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs
* Calculating dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials
Skills
* Must be knowledgeable in AutoCAD and Bluebeam and understand the project/program and its requirements.
* Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
* Thoroughness and reliability
* Excellent organizational skills
* BSc/BA in architecture, engineering, construction science, or relevant discipline is a plus
