System drawing packages could contain mechanical layout of enclosures, electrical and control diagrams.

Drawings and documents prepared with lead direction of Electrical and/or Mechanical Design Engineers.

Provide drawings requested by customers on legacy products.This position reports toEngineering ManagerYour responsibilitiesSupport Product Development.Prepare panel arrangement layouts, electrical wiring diagrams, detail drawings, punch details and all related documentation.Proficient with Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software applications requirements
– AutoCad R2010 or higher.

Optional
– SolidWorks 2016 version or higher.Drawings designed under the direction of project engineer per project specifications.

Such drawings might include but are not limited to:One-Line and Elementary diagrams.Switchboard panel assembly layouts.Wiring diagrams
– device point to point termination configuration.Equipment mounting plates, drill plan details, and assemblies.Bill of Materials, Circuit Schedules, Wire label lists, Nameplate schedules.Prepare layout drawing of panel assemblies, apply critical dimensions to create new or modify existing designs.Prepare project documentation and drawings per department CAD standards and procedures.Assist with preparation of drafting process checklists and standards.Performs job function requiring minimal direction.Search and provide existing legacy drawings per customer requests.Your backgroundTwo years of technical college or vocational training in principals of electrical, electronic and mechanical drafting, or core of drafting courses and 2 years of experience, or equivalent school and/or work experience.Formal training or equivalent work experience in the use of Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) equipment is required.CAD drafting experience requires a minimum of 2 years AutoCad 2010 or higher/ Solidworks a plus.Require knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical detail/assembly drawings.
