Description: This position will be responsible for drafting fire system plans for various project types.
You will work closely with a Designer for training and development to learn about the systems inside and out.
You will be responsible for drafting in AutoCAD for all your project types and delivering for final review.
Company is seeking drafters with a high level of interest for the fire protection space that are interested in career advancement and certifications in the industry, BvsA: Construction background , experience, or knowledge of how work is preformed in construction world (this will allow candidates a better sense to why they do the design’s the way they do.
BvsA: Nicet III, field/ construction experience, Revit First Day: Intro to team, intro to projects, shadow designer, go over training program and expectations.
Disqualifiers: Residential only experience, 4 yr degree engineers (no ability to become a PE).

– minimum AA degree in drafting with recent experience using AutoCAD
– Strong in mathematics as work requires hand calculations
