Dog Daycare Attendant

“I Said Sit!” School for Dogs is hiring for the position of kennel assistant at our dog training facility.

It is part time with full time as an option for the right candidate.

Approximately 18-24 hours per week, 3-4 days a week including overnights, weekends and holidays.

Kennel Assistant

Candidates MUST be available to work 1 overnight shift per week in addition to regular day shifts.

Day duties include but are not limited to all aspects of dog care from maintaining a clean, sanitary facility, to assisting with training, walking, pottying, cleaning up after dogs, driving doggie school bus, occasional baths, feeding and anything else that goes with dog care.

Overnight duties include but are not limited to cleaning the facility and supervising dogs at night, maintaining a safe and clean environment.

You:
Have excellent customer service
Have a passion for dogs
Punctual with reliable transportation, a GOOD DRIVING RECORD and a valid CA driver license
Take initiative and have common sense
Able to follow direction with minimal supervision
Well-spoken and friendly demeanor
Flexible availability
– We are staffed 365 days a year, so you will need to work mornings, days, evening, overnights, and holidays
Not afraid to get dirty, we are talking about working with dogs
Able to be on your feet much of the day, doing physical work, this is a fast-paced work environment
