Document Control Associate

Adecco is assisting a local client in recruiting for a Document Control Associate in the Sylmar area. This is a temporary to hire opportunity for the right candidate. This position is responsible for maintaining the Document Control System including activities pertaining to document approval and release, maintenance of archival records, maintaining the drawing vault, and all related activities to documented information traceability. Responsibilities for this Document Control Associate position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs administrative duties in support of the Documentation department in an ISO/AS environment.
  • Prepare documentation packet for approval, distribute for approval and release into the system.
  • Maintain the drawing portal, release/update drawing into the ERP (MAS).
  • Maintaining the training system when training is identified in the document release process.
  • Work with Manager to ensure documented information are maintained and preserve from damage.
  • Work with Service Provider to archive/retrieve documented information stored off-site
  • To be considered for this Document Control Associate position, you should:

  • Associate Degree in a related field
  • 2-5 years related job experience
  • Strong computer skills in MS Suite and documentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communicational skills
  • Ability to understand general Engineering documents a plus.
