Position Summary:
As a Nutritional Translator/Clinical Dietitian you will play a key role within NHSc Global Digital Health team by generating and implementing new nutritional guidelines and algorithms powering NHSc digital healthcare platforms across multiple therapeutic areas, NHSc businesses, and geographies. As a leader in the nutritional supplement industry, Nestle Health Sciences is a champion of sound science. This position will have the opportunity to support the Nutrition Research and Personalization group after the Digital Health Team project has been completed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Working with the Digital Health Team to gain a working understanding of the proposed digital nutrition solutions, along with consensus on development timelines and priorities.
• Performing necessary research to produce robust supporting evidence for nutrition guidelines and recommendations. Identifying and enabling resources (e.g., access to third party databases, outside consultants, etc.) required to perform such research.
• Responsible for sourcing key nutritional guidelines for priority therapeutic areas (pre-and post-discharge, IBD/IB/Crohn’s, Oncology) based on scientific/clinical evidence available through external (e.g., professional publications, KOLs) and internal (e.g., NHSc Research, Nestle Research). Proactively identifying new therapeutic areas with emerging differentiated nutritional science that could become an attractive new market opportunity for NHSc.
• Actively leveraging existing and building new network of experts across NHSc, larger Nestle nutritional research teams and external KOLs to ensure that the team is always at the forefront of nutritional research and reuses existing guidelines to accelerate time-to-market.
• Translating compiled nutritional guidelines into structured well documented sets of rules that will be applied to metadata on foods, nutritional products, recipes, and digital multimedia content for personalization of nutritional recommendation to unique patient profiles based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to demographic data, food preferences, medical conditions, food allergies, lifestyle choices, medications, lab test results.
• Developing condition specific meal plans and validating available meal plans for fit-to-purpose for NHSc healthcare technology platforms.
• Becoming an expert in deploying new digital nutritional programs by configuring NHSc nutritional “black box” and actively working with internal and external product development and technical teams. In collaboration with the Digital Health team, incorporating nutritional assets (i.e., nutritional guidelines, algorithms, etc.) into digital nutrition platforms.
• Oversee collaboration with external nutritionists (training materials for patient support on NHSc digital platforms)
• Working with category and brand teams on identifying and incorporating NHSc product portfolio into new digital nutritional offerings (“NHSc nutritional black box”). Providing expert assessments and recommendations for NHSc products used in specific medical conditions.
• Analyzing results of engagement of patients with NHSc digital nutritional programs and incorporating their feedback into programs lifecycle.
• Maintain databases tracking new ingredients and ingredient analysis reports.
• Conduct monthly review of newly published scientific journals on key health platforms. Provide short summaries.
• Be the lead contact person to communicate and maintain documentation with raw material vendors.
• Support questionnaire logic for potential brand opportunities within personalization
• Join personalization projects when nutritional recommendations and algorithm support needed (to augment or advance ongoing Digital Health, Nestle Research and/or Data Science and Precision Nutrition Team projects.

Experience and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree Required
• Registered Dietitian Certification Required
• 3+ years of industry experience, including prior experience in GI and/or CF
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships with leaders
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal / written communication skills
