If you want to be challenged to up your game and make a difference, then join us in giving the world reason to cheer Position Summary: The Paid Media team is tasked with establishing company-wide digital media strategies and providing ad management support across multiple AEG divisions such as AEG Presents, Global Touring, Festivals, Goldenvoice, Bowery Presents, Sports, and Global Partnerships. The team is largely responsible for the planning, buying, and implementation of performance marketing campaigns at scale while providing guidance to empower marketing teams and artists to meet their brand and revenue goals. This position in based in Los Angeles, reports to the VP of Media and sits under a centralized Digital organization that services to national and regional teams. We are seeking an experienced Media Strategist to develop digital media plans and manage cross-functional projects across marketing, creative, partnerships, product, and analytics teams. You will be responsible for strategic media planning to promote AEG Presents’ portfolio of tours and festivals, while serving as an advisor for regional offices, owned operated venues, and other AEG partners. You will be expected to be proficient in all aspects of media (primary focus on digital) while collaborating in a dynamic team environment to successfully launch media plans and projects, ensuring deliverables are aligned with objectives and timelines are met. Communication of results and demonstrating success of plans is a key component of this position. Essential Functions: Gather brief materials and prepare digital media plans across various AEG business units in collaboration with channel leads and marketing teams, ensuring media mix and budget allocations are delivered against marketing goals and strategies. Provide direction on tactical approach during planning process and work closely with key members of media team (Paid Social, Display Programmatic, Search) to align on budget optimization, objectives, channel capabilities, audience strategy, creative requirements, site tagging, and new opportunities. Assist with development of channel specific audience strategies, budget pacing targets, and KPI projections. Provide project management support to Media team, acting as point of contact to facilitate communication and project requirements between departments, monitoring activity and related outputs that impact marketing plans, campaign measurement, and product launches. Compile mid-flight and post-campaign reporting for performance insight and historical analysis, clearly communicating effectiveness, optimization opportunities, and strategic recommendations to stakeholders. Contribute to creation and presentation of media documents, such as media proposals, decks, case studies, training material, and reporting dashboards. Lead weekly internal status calls and project focused meetings to define goals, deliverables, and deadlines. Assist with process and operations, working with Product and Analytics team to develop internal tools for media and marketing teams. Required Qualifications: Minimum education requirement of BA/BS 4-year degree in a related field. 3-5 years of previous related work experience managing media budgets, developing, planning, and executing campaigns across digital channels. Strong understanding of paid social platforms, programmatic, display, streaming audio, OLV/CTV/OTT, and their capabilities, value, and creative requirements. Extensive experience media planning with focus on direct response campaigns with diverse budget levels, utilizing various optimization and targeting tactics using 1st and 3rd party data. Well versed in the digital space and media trends, with strong understand of consumer behavior on digital channels and platforms. Self-motivated, well organized, and demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and collaborating across teams in fast past environments. Highly proficient in using Excel with ability to analyze marketing data, identify insight and develop actionable recommendations. Exceptional verbal and written skills with the capability of clearly presenting media proposals and performance reports Ability to delegate tasks to members of the team to meet project requirements and deadlines. Proven ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
