Specializing in immersive motion picture technologies, our employees are driven by a passion to take audiences around the world to places they’ve only dreamed of.Come explore IMAX – where innovation, creativity and passion come together.Required SkillsA Digital Coordinator for features post production will spend most of their time quality checking dub and subtitle IMAX DCPs (Digital Cinema Packages) and also help schedule bookings, process electronic and physical shipments, organize quality checks, handle IMAX emergency KDMs or content issues, and run screenings in a fast paced post production environment.Shift Based Position Tuesday through Saturday 9am to 6pmWhat you’ll be doing:* Majority of time is spent quality checking dub and subtitle DCPs to ensure all assets pass IMAX’s standards.* Work directly with executives and clients to ensure client satisfaction.* Schedule calendar bookings for quality checks or events at our internal IMAX headquarter theaters.* Run screenings and demos with clients, executives, and internal/external events.* Organize subtitle scripts and checkers to ensure successful quality checks.* Processes orders for DCP electronic and physical shipments deliveries.* During a weekend shift or possibly after 6pm on a weeknight, handle the emergency phone and check email to help deliver emergency KDMs and/or handle corrupt hard drives or content issues with our IMAX theaters.* On a weekend shift, handle emergency parts shipments.* Confers with team members to develop new methods to expedite production and maintain quality control.What we’re looking for:* Entertainment Industry Post Production and/or Distribution experience strongly preferred.* Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.* Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.* Demonstrated customer service orientation desired, with an approachable and personable outlook.* Strong organizational and time management skills with the proven ability to organize, prioritize and successfully manage multiple and shifting tasks, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced production* Ability to be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, detail oriented, adaptable and a team player who can work well with others, take direction, fulfill responsibilities under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines with limited direct supervision.The ideal candidate will have:* Detail Oriented Must be able to notice picture, audio, or subtitles issues to the smallest detail.* Adaptable Must be able to deal with changes that can occur at any moment from studio clients or exhibitors* Positive attitude Must be able to have a positive focus despite last minute deliveries and changes that will occur.* Team Player Must be able to work internally with IMAX Post and Operations team members to ensure deliveries, deadlines, and questions are met.* Strong Work Ethic Must have the mindset of what can I do next to move workflow forward and meet deadlines no matter what issues arise.Required ExperienceFor consideration, please apply online.
