– Part TimeThe Adrian Dominican Sisters are seeking a part time and full time Dining Room Aides or Dietary Aides to assist with the buffet and service style dining halls at the Motherhouse Campus in Adrian, Michigan.
Our Motherhouse is home to 300 retired Sisters and has 3-5 different style dining areas where you will provide dining services to Sisters, employees and other guests.Hours: Part time
– 4pm
– 7:30pm, 20-25 hours a week, some holidays and weekends as assigned.

You will work as a team to clean dining rooms before, during and after meals.Dietary Aide Responsibilities:Responsible for operating dish machine.Cleans the serving counters, equipment and dining room tables and chairs.
Returns clean dishes, silverware, trays, etc.
to proper locations when obtained from the clean dish area.Performs final check for the proper food and utensils on the serving counters and buffets prior to opening for a meal period.Follows the cleaning schedules for the dining room and related areas.Takes meal orders and serves food to residentsResponsible for replenishing food items, supplies and utensils needed during the meal period to insure a smooth flow.Performs functions as listed on the job description.
Qualifications:Must pass background check, physical and drug screen.Basic knowledge of food service.Physical:Must be able to frequently bend, reach and carry approximately 35 pounds.Must be able to sit, stand, and walk about up to 8-hours per day.Must be sighted and capable of hearing.Other related titles: Food Service Worker, Food Service Assistant, Dining Room Assistant, Dining Room Aide, Resident Aide, Cafeteria Aide, Buffet Server, Buffet Service Worker, Dining Hall Aide, Food Service Aide, Dietary Aide.
