Preparing and portioning food items to help maintain the highest quality of life to all residentsSetting up meal trays and delivery of mealsAssisting with putting stock away on delivery daysWashing and storing all pots, pans, dishes and utensils as well as sweep and mop floors and any other assigned special cleaningMaintaining the confidentiality of all residents and their care to ensure resident rights and privacy are protected at all timesEnsuring the dietary work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary mannerPerforming other duties as assigned Qualifications: Dietary Aide QualificationsHave an understanding of the safe dietary procedures and the geriatric communityWillingness to work for the best interest of the residents and facilityAbility to work as part of a team and partnering with other departmentsA high school diploma or GED is preferred but not requiredSome Dietary experience is preferred
