DevSecOps Engineer / Mobility and Car Sharing Platform

An organization whose product gives gig-worked access to vehicles and insurance is expanding it’s security organization.

This DevSecOps Engineer will be the second hire with this title at the organization and will be tasked with leading junior engineers and leading the working with the engineering team to ensure code production security.

The ideal candidate for this position will have 5+ years’ experience in a DevOps/DevSecOps capacity and will need to be familiar with security compliance frameworks/tools as well as security architecture.

This will be the 2nd hire to the DevOps team and will have a profound impact on the team and the organization as they continue to grow.

Required Skills & Experience 5+ years’ experience in a Linux environment MUST HAVE: CISSP certification Experience in CI/CD pipeline tools (Jenkins, CircleCI) Expertise using infrastructure and automation tools Basic to mid-level exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Prior experience scanning for security vulnerabilities and security architecture Desired Skills & Experience Experience using Confluent or Kafka Basic programming/scripting experience with Python and Ruby or Bash BS or MS in Computer Science, or related fields CISA, CISM, CCSP certifications are preferred Prior experience collaborating with global teams The Offer Competitive Salary: Up to $160K/year, DOE You will receive the following benefits: Medical & Dental Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) 401(k) Paid Sick Time Leave Pre-tax Commuter Benefit Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis now and in the future.
