We look for big-picture, strategic thinkers with operations and execution experience and an eye for continuous innovation.(br((br(SUMMARY(br((br(The Development Associate’s primary responsibilities will be focused on the Development and financial aspects of the company.

They will work closely with the Vice President of Development in Los Angeles assisting in overseeing all aspects of opening up new projects and across the operations and finance teams.

The Development Associate will assist with all budgeting and reporting requirements, coordinating with building owners, and the accounting team.

They will also be heavily involved in the implementation of new systems, reporting, the development and design process, diligence, and cost benefit analysis.

They will also assist the asset management team in oversight of capital projects, investor reporting, property level oversight and strategic initiatives.

This is a full-time exempt position.

This person will work from our Los Angeles Corporate office and from respected properties from time to time.(br((br(ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(br((br(Assist with pricing strategy, marketing, and architectural and design review.(br(Assist with development of brand standards and building programming.(br(Assist with strategic partnerships, building SOPs and hospitality standards.(br(Collaborate with asset management team regarding leasing and marketing operations(br(Assist in due diligence, underwriting, and financial modeling of potential acquisitions.(br(Assist in the preparation and review of operating budgets, quarterly re-forecasts, and financial reports.(br(Oversee capital projects, implementation of building technology and systems, and value engineering opportunities.(br(Collaborate on financial analysis, marketing studies, and industry reporting.(br(Manage project-performance and monitor monthly marketing plans, sales reports, and processing goals.(br(Manage coordination of pre and post development activities and integration of assets.(br(Develop and distribute periodic asset management reports to investors, consultants, and partners.(br(Perform other related duties and assignments as required.(br((br(QUALIFICATIONS(br((br(Strong analytical and organizational skills(br(Proficient in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) and general Microsoft Office(br(Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team(br(Extremely detail-oriented and methodical, with the ability to multitask while meeting deadlines(br(Must work well under pressure and with concurrent projects(br(Experience in Yardi Voyager software is a plus, but not required.(br((br(EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE(br((br(BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field(br(3.5 GPA or above(br(3-4 years’ experience(br((br(COMMUNICATION(br((br(The employee must be able to comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and reports.
