Design Operations Lead

Our client, a top financial company, is looking for a Design Lead to join their team.

We’re looking for candidates with the following skillset and experience to fill the role. 

An agile environment with a user-centered design process.

Here you will collaborate with UX Designers, UX Researchers, Product Owners, and Developers on multi-device experiences for mobile and desktop banking—working on large projects as well as ongoing maintenance.

As the Design Operations Lead, reporting to the SVP, Head of User-Centered Design, you will be responsible for improving the experience of all the members of the Digital Experience Design team.

You will lead the development and evolution of standards, frameworks, and partnerships to increase the collaboration and alignment with Product, Business, and Research groups.

What you will do:
As a member of the Digital Experience Design leadership group, you will have the opportunity to elevate our standards and new ways of working.

Utilize strong project management skills to track, communicate status, and deliver digital projects on time Collaborate closely with Product leaders, Scrum Masters, Digital Managers, Designers, Researchers, and Developers to deliver best-in-class experiences for our clients Develop and maintain operational processes, frameworks, and tools Facilitate Design Thinking sessions when necessary, especially during the intake and problem framing phases

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:
Team player with strong cross-functional and communication skills Independent strategic thinker who can help build processes and act as an advisor to teams Proficiency with digital platforms and applications (Confluence and Jira expertise) Excellent empathetic and interpersonal skills Experience in Finance Industry is a plus (but not required)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor project schedules and change order status Promote teamwork, internal communication, and a positive work atmosphere Monitor project/work performance and productivity Develop strong communication with internal and external project teams Manage assigned project schedules and timelines
