Job Description: Immediate need for demand supply planner.
Wholesale Produce Company in Los Angeles is looking for a Demand/Supply Planning Analyst who will support this critical function including but limited to our SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process, demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, materials & capacity planning, and inventory control.
This individual will analyze and organize large data sets, and develop the insights required to support Valley?s procurement, sales and customer service objectives.
The Analyst must effectively defines, communicates, and recommends adjustments in procurement activities to ensure inventory is controlled, product losses are minimized, inventory levels are appropriate and customer demand is being efficiently and effectively achieved.
This position will analyze, track, optimize and report large amounts of commodity, sales, and logistics data to help plan an optimize procurement and inventory management needs.
This position requires an individual who is thoughtful, resourceful, and a great communicator that enjoys solving problems under his or her own initiative to help support total company buying activities.
Own demand planning KPIs and metric tracking to increase forecast accuracy.
Ideal candidates will be organized, strategic thinkers, quick learners, and extremely analytical with an interest in consumer goods, and data science.
Applicants must have excellent communication and time management skills, be able to work efficiently in an entrepreneurial team environment and be able to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are a must.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills; self-motivated to support and enable the company?s growth.
