You will also understand Dell Solutions teams’ HW/architecture needs and use cases, conduct and communicate design and feature analysis, and evaluate alternatives as requiredYou will:Architect hardware configurations and identify/drive requirements for integration of Dell PowerEdge servers into products and solutions across the Dell Infrastructure Solutions GroupUnderstand industry technology trends and Dell technology strategies to advise Dell engineering teams on architectural decisionsCollaborate with Dell solutions teams to define their technical HW requirements.
Use those requirements to help drive architectural direction for next generation devices and platforms on the PowerEdge server roadmapWork closely with platform teams to execute a design against the specified architecture, and review the design and validation results.Collaborate across all disciplines (hardware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, etc.) to ensure product requirements are being implemented to meet program goals.Use excellent communication skills to drive requirements and provide technology updates to multiple Dell EMC product groups and development teamsTake the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table.
Heres what we are looking for with this role:Essential Requirements Undergraduate degree and 10+ years of relevant experience or Graduate degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5-7 years of experience in a systems development environment or equivalent experience.
Experience with server, storage, and networking technologies such as NVMe, SAS/SCSI, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Fibre Channel, DRAM, persistent memory, Intel and AMD CPU architecture Proficiency in working with technical partners or geographically dispersed engineering teams to gather requirements, solve problems, and drive future technology decisions Strong communication, influence, and prioritization skills.
Ability to communicate (verbal and written) plans, status, and issue details.
