Data Quality & Controls Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Los Angeles, CA for a remote Data Quality & Controls Analyst.

Key Tasks:

  • Data Quality & Controls Analyst will source and upload Critical Data Element (CDE) data lineage mappings onto business glossary tool Axon/EDC
  • Analyze CDE’s data lineage (source to target) mappings to understand data traceability and underlying data quality risk
  • Create data lineage templates that outline key data lineage hops for select CDEs
  • Elicit and review CDE’s data quality requirements
  • As a Data Quality & Controls Analyst, you will propose and document data quality rules that cover DQ dimensions: completeness, accuracy, integrity
  • Extract source system data from operational data warehouse and conduct data analysis of CDEs: Identify need for additional data controls; Assess effectiveness of documented/evidenced data controls

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA in Business, Finance and/or Computer Science
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in: metadata, data lineage and data quality experience
  • Minimum 3 years of SQL experience in banking/financial services
  • SQL expert
  • MS Excel expert
  • MS PowerPoint and Visio proficient
