The team is currently looking for Data Pipelines (ETL) Administrator to join their team.Position ResponsibilitiesDuties will include (but are not limited to):IBM DataStage platform administration support including configuration, monitoring and maintenance of the system.Perform administrative activities related to systems and ensures that optimum performance and availability;Perform troubleshooting, analysis of the problems determine severity, work on resolution, collaborate with cross functional teams in resolving the issue along with escalations as needed.Plan and coordinate installations, modifications, upgrades, outages with team and application ownersPerform technology insertions by developing and automating DataStage, third-party software deploymentsCapacity Planning, forecasting to keep the platform optimum sizingCompliance in the areas of compliance in the areas of access, updates, upgrades including server vulnerability and remediationConsistent delivery and support of selected approved DataStage products and toolsParticipate Production in on-call support (regular and off hours) as primary, notify backup when unavailableMonitor system health jobsReview/update ServiceNow tickets with resolutionReview tickets/issues log for trends and lessons learnedThis position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in the Seattle, WA area or any of the listed locations.The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications ( Required Skills / Experience):3+ years experience with IBM DataStage system administration (OR) experience with equivalent technologies (ex: Talend, Informatica)3+ years of ETL programming3+ years’ experience with Linux operating system and scripting (ie. Unix/Linux Shell Scripting)2+ years of experience with database administration, SQLPreferred Qualifications ( Desired Skills / Experience ):Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP),Ability to work independently, one on one, or in a group settingExperience in a large and diverse production environmentSAFe, Agile and Azure DevOps (ADO)Addition skills in the areas of Ansible, Git, Jenkins, YAML, Python, Teraform and DB2Typical Education & Experience :Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.).Relocation :Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.Drug Free Workplace :Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Shift :This position is for 1st shift.Equal Opportunity Employer:Boeing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
